For the last twenty years Hope has taught Performing Arts and Visual Art in Washington, DC & MD Public Schools, including The Duke Ellington High School of the Arts and the  Fillmore Arts Program.  She has directed many student productions and her students have performed in The Children's Shakespeare Festival at the Folger Shakespeare Theatre and at the Smithsonian National Museum of Air and Space.  Art works created by students in her classes have been on exhibit at Reagan National Airport and the Pepco Edison Gallery.   Written works created by her students have been published in The Washington Post.
